A hidden gem pitched high upon a hill south-west of Marken, a small settlement in the Limpopo Province. The lodge was aptly named Ehlathini, which means ‘in the bush’ as the lodge overlooks the stunning African bushveld. The lodge is a place of quiet sophistication and tranquil elegance where our guests can experience the true beauty of the African bushveld.Ehlathini lodge has 3 beautiful, en-suite individually decorated rooms that open up onto the outdoor passageway of the lodge garden. The lodge garden over-looks the pool, garden and watering hole area. These rooms are booked on catered options only.
The Zebra room is a group room offering 1 King bed and a single bed OR 3 twin beds'
The Lion room is a family room offering 1 queen-size bed with 2 twin beds and space for a camping cot or stretcher;
The Leopard room is a couple room offering 1 double bed.
All rooms are en-suite and have mini bar fridges, tea- and coffee-stations, hair-dryers, bath towels, linen, ceiling fans and warm blankets for the cooler evenings.
Ehlathini Chalets are within walking distance from the main lodge, each with a private patio overlooking the bushveld. Clients choosing the self-catering packages will share a communal kitchen and boma area.
The Bushman chalet is a 2 sleeper offering a king-size bed or 2 single beds; The Nguni chalet is a 2 sleeper offering a king-size bed or 2 single beds, which overlooks the watering hole; God’s Window Chalet is a 2 sleeper offering a King bed or 2 single beds. Chalets are en-suite and have mini bar fridges, tea- and coffee-stations, hair-dryers, bath towels, linen, ceiling fans and warm blankets for the cooler evenings. The shared self-catering kitchen includes 2 gas stovetops, fridge/freezer, extra electrical points for travel fridges, cutlery and crockery for 6 adults and pots and pans. The patio with tables, chairs and umbrellas is the perfect place to enjoy your meals in comfort.
