Dean and Belinda became the proud owners of Hawklee 7 years ago and transformed a tired Hawklee into one of the leading Luxury Guest House’s in the KwaZulu natal midlands.The guest house offers an exceptional standard of accommodation in a quiet, tranquil setting with the sound of the Lion’s river running past the cottages 13 km outside Nottingham Road on the Fort Nottingham road.
As testament to their love of hospitality and hosting guests Dean and Belinda created 6 luxury individual cottages nestled along the banks of the Lion’s river, that carry a 3 star rating with the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa. Their motto is to present an exceptional 3 star experience. Each cottage has spectacular views and are en suit with their own private Spa bath. What better way than to relax in your own private Spa bath after a long day traversing the Midlands.
We offer gourmet picnics along the river that transverses our property and gives 5 cottages a river frontage with the Garden Cottage called the Rose Cottage situated in the garden.
We do not do self catering as we are a Guest house
