Located along the extensive centenarian oaks avenue, between the Shrine of Santa Maria Madalena and the Chapel of Santa Marta de Leão, place of ancient religious pilgrimage, the Hotel was built on the ruins of the Franciscan Convent of Santa Maria Madalena do Monte, built in the late eighteenth century ordered by Dom Miguel.This Convent was used in the past for the organization of important Events and to accommodate those who seek the perfect place to rest and ill from respiratory diseases, due to the fresh and pure air and the favorable microclimate.
