The Balaia Atlantico Aparthotel is approximately four miles (or a ten minute drive) to the east of Albuferia on Portugal's Algarve coastline. Occupying an attractive location surrounded by local flora, the Balaia Atlantico is only one and a half miles or five minutes in a car from the nearest beach, Olhos DAgua. Contemporary, minimalist, designer inspired and laid back are all excellent descriptions of the Balaia Atlantico Aparthotel. There are 138 stylish apartments set in attractive gardens with a central lagoon shaped pool and a spacious terrace that is furnished with loungers, parasols and a convenient bar serving drinks and snacks. The interior is modern, with a great use of bold colours and elegant furniture. Each apartment is not only stylish but also well equipped with a kitchenette, lounge, satellite television, air conditioning and a private balcony or terrace. The Balaia Aparthotel's restaurant has a chic feel about it and serves great Portuguese and international cuisine that will appeal to most peoples taste.There are plenty of facilities to enjoy at the Balaia Atlantico Aparthotel including a tennis court, an 18-hole mini golf course and a health club which includes an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, fitness studio, gym, sauna, Turkish bath and massages - some of these services may come at an extra cost. The health club opens Monday to Friday 10am to 10pm, on Saturdays from 10am to 6pm and Sundays and Bank Holidays it is closed. If that's not enough to keep you busy whilst on holiday in Albufeira there is also a daytime and evening entertainment programme( not available in winter, so between November till the end of April), a games room, pool tables and live music most nights.
