Hotel Description
The Velvet Olive is located in Sutherland in the Northern Cape and consists of 2 units, a cottage and the main house. Both are fully equipped and a maximum of 11 guests can be accommodated.The main house offers 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lounge with fireplace, kitchen/dining room with wood stove, kitchen with electric stove, microwave and fridge. (Sleep 8)
The cottage, on the same property, is a beautifully restored cottage with an open plan bedroom/lounge with fireplace, kitchen and bath with separate toilet. (Sleep 3).
Warm blankets are provided for those cold winter nights and guests are welcome to make use of the fireplace and the stoves. The kitchen is equipped with an indoor BBQ. The outdoor BBQ areas are excellent for stargazing and social gatherings.

- The cottage (De Oude Waenhuys) is located on the same property. This beautifully restored cottage consists of an open plan bedroom/lounge with fireplace. The room also has a kitchen and bath with separate toilet. This is perfect for a small family or for a couple. (Sleeps 2).
