WOW! This is our 10th year operating in Melville. We have 9 rooms situated in the heart of trendy Melville. We are diagonally opposite the new shopping mall, 27 boxes.We have been part of the set of the BANG BANG club and the TV series the B&B. Who could forget the 2010 world cup too!
The sleepy gecko guest house gives thanks to everyone for being part of all these wonderful experiences. We have a 15 seater conference centre and outdoor bar. We can accommodate your team for meetings and events and provide meals on request. We have a solution for each requirement.
We can sleep up to 22 guests, which includes groups, couples, families and individuals who are here for business, pleasure or just a look see. We pride ourselves on being a home away from home in a small oasis just on the northern suburbs on the border of Johannesburg city. We are right next to the Universities of Johannesburg and Wits and the SABC. We are also conveniently located near the upmarket shopping areas of Sandton City, Rosebank, Parkhurst and Cresta.

The 10 colourful rooms and suites offer WiFi, TVs, and tea and coffee making facilities. Suites, including 1 with a fireplace, add separate living spaces.
There's a dining room with fireplaces, a guest lounge/bar, an outdoor pool and gardens, as well as off-street parking. Children 15 and under are not permitted.
